काया की आबरू तक मैं थी,
काया के हुस्न से लेकर —
काया के इश्क़ तक तू था।
यह मैं अक्षर का इल्म था
जिसने मैं को इख़लाक दिया।
यह तू अक्षर का जश्न था
जिसने ‘वह’ को पहचान लिया,
भय-मुक्त मैं की हस्ती
और भय-मुक्त तू की, ‘वह’ की
मनु की स्मृति

Kaaya Ki Haqiqat Se Lekar –
Káaya Ki Aabroo Tak Main Thi,
Kaäya Ke Hushn Se Lekar –
Kaayā Ke Ishq Takt U Tha
Yah Main Akshar Ka Ilm Tha
Jisne Main Ko Ikhlakh Diya.
Yah Tu Akshar Ka Jashn Tha
Jisne ‘Vah’ Ko Pehchaan Liya,
Bhay-Mukt Main Ki Hasti
Aur Bhay-Mukt Tu Ki, ‘Vah’ Ki
Manu Ki Smriti
Toh Bahut Baad Ki Baat Hai
