Terrific song from an average movie. This was one of Sanjay Dutt’s “comeback” movies – after he returned from rehab in the USA. Only a few directors were willing to take him on – and he proved to them he still had it and has been at it ever since. Good for him! This song is simply awesome.
When Gulzar Sahab, Pancham Da & Asha Bhosle Meets THE MAGIC is for sure but in this song, Amit Kumar has also proved he got the talent and he is not in the singing profession just because his father (Kishore Kumar) is a great singer. The composition is of course beautiful but I think THE THING which makes this song UNFORGETTABLE is the LYRICS of this song. I mean only Gulzar Sahab can think & write lines like …“Aankhon Par Kuch Aise Tumne Zulf Gira Di Hai ..Bechare SE Kuch Khawabon Ki Neend Udda Di Hai”.
