गुलज़ार की कविता कायनात-३

बहुत बौना है ये सूरज ….!
हमारी कहकशाँ की इस नवाही सी ‘गैलेक्सी’में
बहुत बौना सा ये सूरज जो रौशन है..।
ये मेरी कुल हदों तक रौशनी पहुँचा नहीं पाता
मैं मार्ज़ और जुपिटर से जब गुजरता हूँ
भँवर से,ब्लैक होलों के
मुझे मिलते हैं रस्ते में
सियह गिर्दाब चकराते ही रहते हैं
मसल के जुस्तजु के नंगे सहराओं में वापस
फेंक देते हैं
जमीं से इस तरह बाँधा गया हूँ मैं
गले से ग्रैविटी का दायमी पट्टा नहीं खुलता!

How small this sun is…!
In this tiny corner of our galaxy
How small this sun is that shines..।
It cannot reach the full extent of my boundaries
When I pass by Mars and Jupiter
Through whirlpools, black holes
I find paths
Black whirlpools keep spinning
Throwing me back into the bare deserts of search
I am tied to the earth in such a way
The gravitational collar around my neck never opens!
