A. R. Rahman
Bismil Azimabadi wrote this poem in 1921following the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and other atrocities by the British colonialists. Later, in the 1965 movie Shaheed, it was used and in 2002 Sameer used this poem with additional lyrics to make this song.
